Fei Amy Shang, CFA
Founder & Chief Investment Officer
After working in wealth management industry for more than 10 years, Fei Amy Shang founded DeStone Capital Management LLC (Formerly Shang Capital Management LLC). Amy has started investment career since year 2000. She has worked for Shanghai International Trust Co. Ltd. as the Portfolio Manager of Global Markets, serving private trust clients. In the capacity of Portfolio Manager and Senior Investment Analyst at Kabarec Financial Advisors, she has served high net worth clients for six years. Prior to that, she has gained professional investment experience as Credit Analyst and Internal Auditor with various financial firms. She acquired NASD licenses in Series 7, 63 and 24 as early as 2001. She has become a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 2004.
Amy graduated from The University of Petroleum in P.R. China. She has received MBA in International Finance and Marketing from DePaul University, Chicago, IL and was awarded with both Nicholson and Starr scholarships at DePaul University.
She regularly contributes to Chinese Scholar and Professional Organizations in Chicagoland area such as Chicago Chinese Women Chamber of Commerce with her time, resources and volunteerism. Amy is an active member of the Investment Analysts Society of Chicago(IASC) and The Chinese Financial Association(TCFA). In the role of President of XL Toastmaster Club, She promotes the arts of public speaking. In her spare time, she served in the mentoring program of the Organization of Chinese Americans(OCA). Charlie Cai, CFA, FRM Partner & Investment Director
With Master degree in Economics and Bacheler degree in Economics as well, Charlie brings nearly 10 years experience in risk management and derivative trading to the investment team. Yongli Yuan
Marketing Associate
Yongli is responsible for marketing initiatives related to high net worth clients in China as well as Chinese institutional clients conducting business in the U.S.
Graduated from Shanghai University with bachelor in Finance, Yongli is currently pursuing her Master degree of Finance at DePaul University, Chicago. Yongli has gained her first experience in financial industry with an internship in the Bank of Communication of China during her undergraduate years. When she was a freshman, she was chosen to join in the Junior Achievement – China program to learn basic knowledge of Wealth Management and she volunteered to teach the finance and accounting knowledge for youth in middle school. May Yang Marketing Associate
May is responsible for marketing initiatives and projects related to social media as well as traditional media platforms.
With extraodinary achievement in her highschool years, May will be attending Harvard University in the fall. Her success in academic field include her recent participation in the US Physics Team consisting of twenty of the top physics students in the nation. In other science competitions, she has earned top scores in the state in chemistry and physics. Throughout high school, May has also received several honors including a National Merit Scholarship, the Bausch and Lomb Honorary Science Award, the Illinois Science Teachers Association Science Student Award, and the Math Team Scholarship.
